Improved page engine rank is a term used by those with a confusion with SEO and page optimization and Google Page Rank – properly PageRank by the way. It is a trade marked term registered by Google, although the patent for the PageRank system of calculating and assigning it is assigned to Stanford University where Page developed the system, not Google.

What most people do not know is that the term PageRank originates from the name of one of the developers, Larry Page. Hence Page Rank. He later teamed up with Sergey Brin to form Google in 1998.

Enough of history: that is in the past! The present is that Google PageRank that I will henceforth refer to as Page Rank for fear of breaking copyright law, has been publicly stated by Google as being one of the predominant means of determining the listing of a website for a particular search term. This might not last for a lot longer, since there are whispers that Google are considering reducing the importance of Page Rank in view of the increasing relevance of social bookmarking and other social sites such as Del.icio.us and Digg.

Now there is Twitter run by Google, and more and more Twitter results are turning up in Google search results. Twitter is what is called a micro-blogging service that uses SMS and instant messaging, or the blog posts on the Twitter website. Facebook is also being used by more and more people, but a lot are college students and others trying to spy on and stalk ex lovers for what can only be assumed to be pretty nefarious reasons.

However, these uses of so called social networking sites are immaterial. It their existence that matters, and the association many of them have with major search engines that are producing so many search results somewhat less than useful when they should properly have been filtered out. The question is: Should Google and Yahoo be allowed to be associated with these sites and give them preference in search engine results by use of what can only be manipulation of the algorithms?

Perhaps Page Rank and Link Density will become less important than your registration and participation in these sites. That is why I have joined most of them. They are fun to participate in, but much of the content is very juvenile and amateurish and not what I would to find in a serious search. Blog postings are generally not useful content.

However, back to link density and Page Rank. It is highly unlikely that link density will ever be dropped by Google, but they might introduce some aspects of social bookmarking in to their algorithm. What this means is that if you want to improve your listing, you will have to be involved in Google related social sites, Twitter being the main one at the moment.

If you understand Twitter you will know what I mean when I state that Google might include, in addition to page rank and traditional SEO, the number of friends and comments, number of Twitter followers, photo uploads and frequency of updates. Keep an eye on Google activity and their acquisitions, since the more acquisitions of social sites Google make, and the more of their own they produce, then you can be pretty sure that at some time they will introduce elements of that into their algorithms.

So, get ahead of the race and get acquainted with Twitter. Google have made no changes yet, but the buzz is there, so don’t bet your boots that no changes will be made in that direction sometime in the future. My belief is that article submission will remain the one major means of attracting traffic and obtaining one-way links back to your selected web pages for the foreseeable future, but that elements of social bookmarking and other social networking sites will gradually creep into the algorithms.

There is nothing to lose by being ahead in the game, and you have just been given a clue as to how to do that. It might be a year away, perhaps less and perhaps more, but when the day comes, if it does, I at least will be prepared for it.

The viral aspect of the web is extremely underestimated. Search traffic is only one source of traffic.

Rule #5: Can you be trusted?. Having a solid client list, establishing relationships with other webmasters, provding great customer service. These activites are all based on trust. Can you be trusted to follow through? If you are trustworthy, your link building will be trustworthy. If you're in it for the short term, like all spammers, then you can't be trusted.

The web is wide open for those webmasters who are willing to develop relationships for the long run. In the future, one way links will be graded on trust. So, you need to ask yourself, am I trustworthy? It's give and take. Are you willing to give before you can take?

Those that are sales savvy, good at marketing and are not afraid of a little hard work can often do incredibly well with an affiliate marketing program.

Affiliate marketing sounds easy but you do need to exercise some caution. You want to avoid the affiliate marketing pitfalls that can ruin your business and worse, have you crawling on your hands and knees back to that boss that now knows how you truly feel.

People tend to get excited when they start a new venture. Unfortunately this excitement and eagerness can cause them to miss key things in their agreement. Whenever you sign up for an affiliate marketing program, you will be expected to sign an agreement. The terms and conditions of the agreement for both sides should be outlined. 16. Display web pages with deceptive, fraudulent content or pages that provide users with irrelevant page content.

17. Using content, domain titles, meta tags and descriptions that violate any laws, regulations, infringe on copyrights & trademarks, trade secrets or intellectual property rights of an individual or entity. Specifically in terms of publicity, privacy, product design, torts, breach of contract, injury, damage, consumer fraud, false, misleading, slanderous or threatening content.

Adsense - 7 keys to empire?

There's a lot of buzz around about how you can make a quick and easy fortune using this AdSense course or that tool or this book. And they show you their incomes from AdSense too (though not necessarily THIS month). Now, is it just me or is something a little odd in all this? Say, I'm making $5000 - no make that $15,276 a month from AdSense on my sites. And now I'm going to sell all my secrets on how to do that for $67 or $97 or whatever. So what happened, did I get all bored with my filthy riches and decide to become a philanthropist and sell stuff that makes me 15K a month for a pittance? Or is it something else?

Am I saying it's impossible? Certainly not. I know people who make that more. But a little reality. Those people don't have 5 or 6 or 50 sites. They have maybe 500 or 3000 or more. Few sites make 20 or more a day. Very few. Average income is probably less than a dollar a day. So with 500 sites at a dollar a day, you've got your 15K a month.

Now the domain names cost you maybe $3500 to $4500. Then you need hosting and somehow you've got to build the sites and get traffic to them. There are excellent tools but the ones that will let you do this kind of thing in a reasonably short time are also very (very) expensive.

And you are continually dealing with sites that don't get indexed or get de-indexed or even get banned. Traffic today, gone tomorrow. Plus, if you're not real careful with those tools you may get an unpleasant letter from Google about a DMCA copyright infringement which could cost you your AdSense account.

You can make money, you can build an empire. But it isn't easy or quick no matter what you hear. And it really isn't a business. It's not a long run proposition, it's not stable. You need to keep creating more sites as older ones fail - or you need to be smart and use those AdSense revenues to build an enduring business.

You put up with this down to here, so here are the real 7 "secret" keys to AdSense.

The best performing AdSense type is the large rectangle. This has been tested over and over.
The best colors are blue for the link - surfers know that blue means click me. And darkish almost black and grey for the text and url. No borders. The same background as your page. Will it merge into your content? No, that's bogus. There are maybe 4 surfers in this galaxy who can't tell a Google ad when they see one. They are not going to believe it's part of the text. Wake up, OK?
Another format which is being reported to more or less work is the full wide banner type layout with text ads and images directly above the links. Try it and see if it works for you. Maybe it's a fad.
Keywords and related content are critical if you want targeted ads. If you want high paying clicks you need to target the costly keywords AND have content that supports the keywords.

You have to track what you're doing and you have to test variations in ad layout, placement, color and related content to optimize your income. No one can tell you how to do it except the traffic coming to your site. If you don't test and track, you're flying blind.
You need to keep building new sites.

You are now a member of the AdSense Illuminati. Quite possibly you already knew all that. So why are you looking for something else? Really. This is all you need to start doing it. Probably any course or book can help you if that's what it takes to get you moving and doing. Ultimately, no one can really show you exactly how to do it. You're going to have to learn the ropes and put in the time.

Like everything in life - the greatest traffic generator, the ultimate course or the super MLM opportunity, if it sounds too good to be true, then it is. There's no magic bullet, no ultimate secret to buy. There's no easy, painless, work free, certain road to riches (except, maybe, inheriting it and that can be very hard on the heirs).

Whatever you do on the net, do it wide awake and with your brain actually functioning. Google's own AdSense Tips

Google is at least as interested as you are in having your ads perform well on your site. And they've gone to some work to provide the information you need to optimize your AdSense.

What's fascinating to me is that apparently not everyone bothers to read their tips. And even some that do, fail to apply it.

That said, you need to be aware that simply using their tips doesn't guarantee successful ads and decent CTR (Click Through Rate). How many times have you heard this? You have to test. You have to try alternatives and see what really works best for you, on your pages, with your content and your visitors. Test, test, test some more. Track your results, analyze them, try variations. Too many of us don't test. We hear the mantra, but we don't do the work.

First, let's see if we can get an idea about location. (The graphic is included in the article on my site or you can take a look at it at the Google link included below) Generally, above the fold, at the top center of your content, below top navigation is the hottest location. Not immediately below which is good but not quite as hot. In a left sidebar, to the immediate left of primary content or below the primary content are also good. Most other locations are generally cooler.

Again, you need to test and you need to consider your users behavior - and their behavior may vary on different pages with different kinds of content. Google suggests that in some cases, such as articles, the best location can be at the end of the article. To quote Google, "It's almost as if users finish reading and ask themselves, What can I do next?" Well targeted relevant ads right there can provide the answer.

Don't blindly assume that sticking a nice big rectangle in the center above the fold will do it. It may, but depending on your content, it may annoy or inconvenience your users.

Users tend to focus on content, navigation and to a lesser extent graphics. Positioning your ads near these elements will often work well -- if those ads are targeted to your visitors needs.

The top three performers among the Google ad formats are the 336X280 large rectangle, the 300X250 inline rectangle and the 160X600 wide skyscraper. Google reports that the wider formats tend to do better than the taller ones. One reason may be that these are, perhaps, easier to read since they have fewer line breaks and require less eye movement. But, you need to use formats that fit your pages well. Once again, you need to test, but redoing your pages to suit a particular ad format may not be a reasonable alternative and you may discover that a different format actually gets better results.

Now we come to color. Conventional wisdom says that colors which tend to blend into your content do better. Some go so far as to suggest that colors which make the ads look like part of the content are best. Personally, I think anybody really believes those ads are anything but ads, but who knows. Google suggests that you may find that colors that standout from your content do better - or maybe the opposite. This is absolutely an area where you need to test alternative color schemes. Going with the conventional wisdom usually works fairly well, but without testing you could be leaving a lot of money on the table.

Google allows you to have up to three ad units and one link unit on your pages. If you have long pages with lots of text, can only use small ad units or are in a niche with a large ad inventory, multiple units can pay off. Keep in mind that the way ad serving works is that the higher value ads are delivered to the first ad unit block encountered in your code. Always make sure that this first ad unit is displayed in the best location (yeah - test). You want the higher paying ads to be in the prime hot location on your page. Weaker locations can get the lower priced ads. And if none are available, then nothing will display unless you've included an alternate ad URL in your Google code. To maximize monetization you should be including alternate ad URLs, especially if you are putting multiple units on a page. The use of an alternate ad URL also eliminates the possibility of being served PSAs (Public Service Announcements). It's your real estate, maximize your returns.

Nothing here is secret. Except for using the alternate ad URL, all of this information is available from Google's Optimization Tips page - http://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/static.py?page=tips.html . You can buy books and courses, visit a dozen forums and, in the end it comes down to what your visitors do on your site. The best you can get is general guidance. This means averaged outcomes over many sites, many types of content. If you are serious about doing whatever you can to really optimize your AdSense returns, there is only one thing to do - test. Whether it's AdSense, opt-ins, copy, headlines - anything with a measurable outcome that you can track - then the way to improve is to test and keep on testing.

Make Comment on another blog that has same niche as your blog and already have a lot of visitor.
Get your blog linked to another blog. The more blog you linked the better chance people will find your blog.
Join online community forums that have related niche. Tis is the right place to find something to write your article or post. There are some problem, idea, or thought from forum's member that could give you some idea to write.
Write article and submit it to article directories. Write a good article about your blog niche than distribute it to article directory and people will start to visit your blog after read it.
Submit your blog to online directories. You must be careful when submit your blog, submit it only to search engine friendly online directories.
Submit to social bookmarking. Social bookmarking is creating a list of your favorite sites on a public "bookmarking" site, and "tag" them with keywords. And you can also share your bookmarks with other people's bookmarks. You should submit your blog to Technorati, digg, and del.icio.us.

Adsense Tips to Make Good Revenue

I read a lot of Adsense tips that very useful for newbies like myself. Here are some of them :

Place Ads so people will notice it, example in the fold (the top of the page), the first part that will be seen when the page is loaded.
Make sure the ads blends with content, match the background and border of ads with the page's background. This will make the ads look like part of content.
Use enough good keyword on page(on title and text content) that will trigger more good ads and not Public Service Announcements.
Choose topic carefully and stay focus on the topic, so Adsense will not get confused in choosing the ads that relevant to the content.
Follows Google's Rule, don't click your own ads, don't blatantly encourage visitors to click ads.
Be patience, in most cases good revenue won't come instantly.
Use channel to monitor each individual ads performance, adjust the poor ads.
Don't place too many ads in one page, too may ads can confuse reader and make them don't want to stay at your website.
Increase traffics.
Constantly update your blog/page site.

From all of these tips, i found that use enough good keywords and stay focus on topics are really hard to do, at least for a newbies like myself. It's hard to find good keywords that are match my blog topic.

However, i find this tips is good and will try to implement it. Like mentioned in the tips, be patience and try harder.

There are many things out there on the web, archieve, movie, music/mp3, and books for example. Google is one of excellent search engine that provide surfer with meant to find them. And here is some tips to use google to find what we need.

Googling Ebooks,
Put this in the google search box to find ebooks index on Apache server :

+ ("index of") + ("ebooks|book") + (chm|pdf|zip|rar) + Apache

To find books that you already know the title, use this:

+ (rar|chm|zip|pdf|tgz|lit) book title

Googling Warez,

"parent directory" mp3 -xxx -html -htm -php -shtml -opendivx -md5 -md5sums

Change mp3 with what you want, gamez, DVDRip, applications, or xvid.

Googling MegaUpload or Rapidshare,

Video file write :avi|mpg|mpeg|wmv|rmvb site:megaupload.com

Music file write :mp3|ogg|wma site:megaupload.com

Archieve write :zip|rar|exe site:megaupload.com

Ebooks write :pdf|rar|zip|doc|lit site:megaupload.com

Change megaupload.com with rapidshare.de to search for file at rapidshare.

Tips to Solve MegaUpload Download Slot Limit

MegaUpload is one of the most popular One-Click Webhosting and free file hosting that allows users to upload and store file up to 250MB in size (up to 5 GB for premium users, although you can upload unlimited number of files) and share with others.

Unfortunately, if you want to download contents and files from MegaUpload file hosting service for free, there are some limitations that applied to regular users, and one of them is download slots limit based on your country. The download slots available is depends on country, and if it's used up, you have to wait for a download to finish and vacant the slot for you to be able to download again.
When the limit is hit, the message such as "All slots assigned to your country are in use, try again later" will appear.

This is the problem that i got everytime i want to download from megaupload. Gave me a headache. Fortunately, there are methods to hack MegaUpload download limit problem.

Change the URL so it's look like this:

Use Guardster to bypass MegaUpload Country limit. Input megaupload download link into the address text box (where you can see http://), uncheck all the options and then click the "I agree and wish to surf anonymously" button.
Use Google Language Tool translation capability. Input megaupload download link into the text box (where you can see http://) then choose the language option, the default one English to German, will do the trick.
Mozilla Firefox web browser user must download the firefox browser add-ons, Megaupload SX.3.2, from their website http://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3843. Once you download and install Megaupload SX.3.2 and restart the Firefox, go to Tools menu, turn on and enable the plugin before you click on any Megaupload or SexUploader download link. Once the download has started, you can safely de-activate the plugin by disabling it from the same menu.
Download and install Alexa Toolbar from Alexa.

I mostly use firefox add-ons because is guaranted to work and easy. The only problem is the download size limit still there.

By blogging, bloggers can get a lot of advantages. Bloggers will be able to write their thought that already plague their mind for such a long time that give them headache. And by writing it online, blogger can have other readers to give some opinions that may be could solve the problem. Or maybe the thought can get worldwide that make blogger famous. Blogging could bring fun for the bloggers and also for the readers.

Another advantage that could be taken fram blogging is profit. Yes, by blogging, blogger can get a lot of money. Of course, this require much more effort than blogging just for fun. But if fun and profit could be achieved with only by blogging why not try it.

Blogging need not much money. You can make new blog at www.blogger.com for free. Or http://wordpress.org can become alternatif.

To get profit, turn blog into money-making enterprise. One method is to include some advertising on your blog. Google Adsense, SearchFeed, AdBrite, and Yahoo's Publisher's Network (YPN) will give you money when people click on their ads that displayed on your blog.

Affiliate program is another method to make money blogging. You can promote products from cost per sale affiliate programs like Amazon and get commission whenever a sale is made.

This is tips for blogger, at least new blogger, so we can write blog posts, that can stand out among the other blog, and catch attention.

Write title that catch reader's attention and be informative.
Keeps sentences short and clear. Also, keep each post under 250 words.
Break up the text. Use numbered lists, bullet points, and subheadings to make your posts easy to scan.
Keep current and up-to-date. No one wants to read old news.
Create and state your opinions, do not afraid.
Be accurate. Be prepared to back it up. Know what your sources are and quote them accurately.
Do not just post links to the same tired sites, offer your reader something new.
Once you have defined the theme of your blog, stick to it.
Harness your blog's search engine potential by dousing your title and post with effective keywords that will help interested parties find your page.
Post frequently - at least several times per week if you want to increase your potential of attracting new readers.
